This summit, hosted by InSOPHE, targets public health students and faculty members; as well as current practitioners who are interested in further developing advocacy skills to benefit the field of public health.
The specific focus this year will be on educating legislators about the roles of public health professionals and ways we are able to address health disparities in Indiana.

1:00pm -2:00pm Meet with legislators/ Visit Committee Meetings
2:00pm-3:00pm Debriefing and closing remarks

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT FOR M/CHES:
An application has been submitted to award Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) and Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES) up to 4.0 total Category I Continuing Education Contact Hours (CECH). Maximum Advanced level contact hours available are 2.0. SOPHE, including its chapters, is a designated multiple event provider of CECHs by the National Commission for Health Education. This is subject to change.
Note: Credits are FREE to InSOPHE members, non-members can purchase credits at $10/credit or become an InSOPHE member prior to the event for $36.00.
