The HIV Care Continuum: Risk Reduction and Care for People Living With HIV

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that more than a million people across the United States have an HIV positive status. This number includes 14% of the population that does not yet know they are positive. The care needs of HIV patients are vast and highly detailed, calling for the coordination of services among medical and social service providers to address the care needs of patients to help manage this chronic illness.

In this one hour webinar, Dr. Neha Pandit Sheth describes the HIV care continuum for positive patients and why they sometimes fall out of the continuum, antiretroviral treatment, and linkage to care. She will also address the needs of HIV patients and how influence and persuasive communication can encourage the continued use treatment and services to achieve viral suppression.

LIVE WEBINAR TUESDAY, JUNE 25, 2019 FROM 9:00-10:00 AM EST.
